How do you know if digital label printing is the best choice for your project? There are several reasons you would choose digital printing over gravure label printing. The first reason is the run length. Our line up of digital label printing presses allow for short runs or long runs of 100,000 labels. The sheet feed digital press handles your ultra short run needs of 50 or more. While our web fed digital press can take care of the long runs of roll labels. Next is the time to produce the label order. Again, our sheet feed press will complete a job in as little as 1 work day while our web feed press has production times of 5-7 work days. Lastly, when would you pick a gravure method then? This type of printing is best suited for the client who needs millions of labels and can allow for 3-5 week production times.

When submitting your file to our pre-press staff, full color pages should be in CMYK format, images should be at least 300dpi, and should have a minimum 1/8″ bleed (see videos).

Standard Production: Short run, digitally printed labels in various square cut sizes are completed in 24 hours. Short run, contour cut labels are produced in 2 to 3 work days. Die cut roll labels are produced in 5 to 7 work days. Standard round corner labels are produced in 3 to 5 work days.
Next Day Production: When available on digitally produced short run, square cut or contour cut projects, press ready artwork received and approved by 10 a.m. will be ready for pick up by 4 p.m. the NEXT work day. All jobs ready to print after 10 a.m. will be ready for pick up the 2nd work day by 4 p.m.
RUSH production: When available on digitally produced short run label projects, press ready artwork received and approved in the store can be ready in 5 to 6 hours. (rush charges applicable)
